Cross & Company is the developer of the proposed The Meadows neighborhood in Thurmont, Maryland.
Albert Meadows Concept Three, now Version Seven, creates a new neighborhood on the entire 24-acre property. Version Seven has been issued to address Town’s ongoing comments.
The new concept plan for The Meadows features sixty (60) single family homes.
This Concept Three Version Seven plan for The Meadows is at a density of 2.5 units per acre in an area long planned for R-5 that would allow 9.9 units per acre, i.e. a density of around 1/4th of what Thurmont said for years what might be allowable, and equivalent to the Town’s R-2 zoning density.
