Daniel’s real estate development business began 30+ years ago when he created a residential community near Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Since 1997, he has been a commercial property owner, manager, and developer of an 81,000 square foot multi-story, multi-tenant (including retail) office building in Frederick, Maryland, which include Government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and regional and small businesses and non-profits. He is a Captain, US Navy (Retired), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of National Association of Realtors, and a former member of the National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP – the Commercial Real Estate Development Association) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Under Daniel’s leadership, Cross & Company strives to create communities and workplaces meant to help others flourish in what they do best – from hard work in a new business start up, to hard work at an established defense contractor, to secure work spaces for those in service to our government, to the hardest and most joyful work of raising a family in a safe, friendly, and environmentally sound new neighborhood.
Lauren V. Potter, CPM®, ACoM
Lauren has worked for Cross & Company for 16 years, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) ® and Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She manages all of the vendors and service providers for an 81,000 square foot multi-tenant office. In addition to supervising tenant improvement construction, Lauren also prepares annual budgets, CAM reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
With a background in public relations, government affairs and sales, Suzanne assists the team with marketing, outreach, and external communications.
Assistant Property Manager and Financial Analyst
Kai is our newest team member and plays a crucial role in assisting Property Manager in the building management of an 81,000 SF multi-tenant office.
Kai is also responsible for assisting Property Manager in all fiscal duties within the company. This includes accounts payable and receivable across entities, budgeting, etc.
Peter, with a background in finance, supports Principal in all financial aspects of prospective real estate ventures. Peter supports development projects to include participating in government meetings, financial modeling and reporting, and examining on-site functions.
